A Time To Weep / Prayer for South Africa /Thoughts/South African Blog -Prayer for South Africa- Heavenly Father, We come before you today to ask for your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. Your word teaches us "Watch out that no one deceives you..." but that is exactly what happened to us. We have lost our spiritual direction, and our values are reversed. We have rewarded corruption and called it a new democracy. We have abused power and called it the will of the people. We have shot our farmers and called it justifiable. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have neglected to treat those with aids and call it the will of our president. We have raped our babies and daughters and called it a statistic. We have given special rights to criminals, gays and murders and called it love. We have polluted our bodies with drugs, alcohol and our minds with pornography and called it to be an adult. Yes oh God, in all of the above we blame you, because we claim that "Your will be done" That's why we do nothing. But now we come before you in the name of your Son Jesus Christ under the guidance of your Spirit and we pray. "You know our hearts, cleanse us from this evil sin of deception and set us free" Amen
